Prolific author Davy Johnson has just penned another tale. It is a horror story. It takes place within a town in Idaho called Evansville. In 1869, during the last vestiges of slavery. The slaves having been just emancipated had angered many former slave holders. Some though angry acquiesced to the proclamation and others were bitter that their way of life had come to an end. Mr. Hyams, who was a former slave holder hires a sorcerer to place a spell upon the remaining slaves who he believe were about to exit the plantation. The sorcerer chants a strange incantation in Greek and in Latin and points into the direction of the slave's quarters. But what neither Mr. Hyams nor Mr. Windham knows is that the slaves had left the quarters an hour earlier. Mrs. Hyams entered the slave's quarters to clean up the mess that had been created by the former slaves, in their attempt to leave. The curse falls upon Mrs. Hyams. Be warned, beward and be afraid of the figure.
