Many Chicagoan’s, especially African Americans, are financially crippled, thereby “Drowning in the Storm of Racism.” Those who live on the South Side of Chicago’s Glass Wall have experienced poverty throughout the years and yet, every year the “Glass Wall” is extended further north by political design. Impoverished minorities are living in a society that continues to treat them like second-class citizens in a first-class nation. This proves that poverty, greed, and racism is in fact, structured by political design thereby causing minorities to continue to live in a crippled economic state.
