Sâdât-e-Kosi is a Concise History of the Syeds of Kosi who are descendants of Prophet Muhammad SAAW. They emigrated from the Arabian Peninsula via present-day Iraq, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, and India over several decades and lived in the southern-most part of Bihar, India. The Syeds of Kosi, are now spread out across the globe i.e., Africa, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Perhaps except for a few, almost all of them have left their ancestral home, Kosi to improve upon their lifestyle and prospects. The book is in two parts: Part 1, describes the concept of nobility and purity of genealogy or lineage and highlights the basis and the benefits of marriage for the growth and sound development of children in whom we see our future. Part 2, focuses purely on the lineage of the Syeds of Kosi to Prophet Muhammad SAAW.
