Kristina is a successful young black woman who felt she had everything until she looked for love in the wrong places. She fell in love with another woman's man, 'Nate,' and became pregnant. Nate was the stereotypical fuckboy player in a relationship with Crystal and had Kristina as his ‘side chick.' Things became problematic when Nate discovered that he had both Crystal and Kristina pregnant simultaneously. He didn't want his committed relationship to end, so he tried unsuccessfully to end Kristina's pregnancy. That was his first time hitting a woman. On the other hand, Kristina moved on and dated a man named Leo. Even though Kristina was already pregnant when they met, Leo was understanding and chose to give their relationship a chance. Things became even more confusing when Nate's girlfriend Crystal discovered he cheated on her with Kristina, her employer. Kristina owns the salon where Crystal worked. Therefore, the controversies began there. Nate was apologetic and didn't want Crystal to leave him, so he did everything he could to keep her and even disowned his other child with Kristina. However, Crystal's stress and sorrow as a result of all of his controversies resulted in the death of her and Nate's daughter just two days after she was born. Kristina and Leo's situation improved when she gave birth to a lovely baby girl named Jasmine. Nate understood he had no option but to father his only living child with Kristina, so he sought to heal fences with her to reunite with her and be a part of their daughter's life.
